Hand-carved from one piece of stone in Burgundy, France, circa 1800, this trough is extremely long, with a length of 91 ½ inches! The gray stone has a magnificent patina consisting of a mottling of black, cream, and white, with traces of brown and orange moss/lichen accumulation. Four small feet were carved to give the trough added stability, and with a drainage hole on one side, it can be used functionally.
