A large carved antique garden urn in a neoclassical style dating from the mid 19th century. This sandstone urn is one of various we are selling sourced from a country estate in the West of Scotland - please enquire for details.
Standing at more than a metre tall, this Scottish garden urn is of spectacular scale, making a striking ornamental piece for prestigious garden. Highly decorative, it is ornately hand carved with sharp details and decoration that has stood the test of time for over 170 years. Comprised of 3 individual pieces, it features a striking flame finial to the top and a carved band ornamented with flowers above leaf detail to the urn base and socle.
You can imagine this stunning neoclassical style urn as a statuary feature of a large country garden or as the focal point of a historic courtyard.
