Group of Four Laverne Planters

About the Item

Group of four sculptural planters of aluminum and iron, designed by Estelle & Erwine Laverne and produced by Laverne International circa 1950's. According to a contemporary Laverne catalog, these are model numbers PL-12A, PL-14, PL-6, and PL-13A. The tallest measures Height 28.5 inches x Diameter 15 inches; the lowest measures Height 14 inches x Diameter 6.5 inches. All have their original white enamel paint, still in quite good condition as a consequence of being used indoors and with plastic foliage, so no water or pronounced rust damage, as is often the case with these. A hard-to-find grouping of different forms and heights with original enamel paint and uniform patina throughout. Can be arranged into numerous photogenic abstract compositions. Price is for the group.
