John Follis Large "Tire" Planter

About the Item

Fabulous huge "Tire" planter by John Follis. We just acquired this out of a wonderfully curated Palm Springs estate. Measures approx 25.5 inches in diameter and almost 14 inches in height. It will accommodate a large plant. A number of holes have been drilled into the base for drainage and it was used for planting over the years, with attendant soil staining on the interior. The exterior has lovely crazing and cracking, but also some glaze loss in stops, and quite a few imperfections and blemishes, please see the detailed photos. The estate featured some wonderful pieces, featuring Cappelini, Donghia, Herman Miller, Knoll and an Yves Klein Table which we have listed separately on the site, please have a look.
