About the Item
Fabulously large, rounded glazed planter in 'Eggplant' by ceramics artist Marilyn Kay Austin for Architectural Pottery. This example, called the floor vase or egg planter, has an almost spherical design with a small 9.25" opening at the top, placed on the ground with a 6" base diameter. Could be used as a stylish planter, or as an oversized sculptural vase.
Dimensions
22" diameter x 24" height; mouth of vessel is 9.25" in diameter.
Conditions
Excellent vintage condition; professionally cleaned. Some very small marks can be observed on glaze, but they do not deter from the beauty of the piece.
