About the Item
Decorate a garden, or a patio with this pair of antique planters. Carved in Normandy France, circa 1870, each antique jardinière is rectangular in shape and stands on small legs over an apron decorated with carved geometric motifs; the flower pot is further embellished with a hand carved floral medallion in high relief on both sides. The heavy sandstone planters are in excellent condition and stand on four small legs, with a beautiful patinated verdigris weathered finish, and have three drainage holes in the bottom.
