About the Item

In Roman mythology, Bacchus is the god of wine, revelry, agriculture, and fertility. He is the son of Jupiter and Semele, the daughter of Cadmus and Concordia. Bacchus is often depicted with vines of grapes, and his followers include goat-footed Satyrs and Maenads Bacchus is the equivalent of the Greek god Dionysus. In Greek mythology, Bacchus is the god of wine and vegetation, and he taught humans how to cultivate grapevines and make wine. Known for his wild and drunken persona. He is associated with wine and the wild animals of the forest. He is also the patron of the arts and the protector of the theater. Bacchus was worshiped in Rome during the wild Bacchanalia festival.
