Large hand carved stone jardiniere decorative planter urn basin antiques LA CA. Very large 19th century hand carved stone Jardiniere could be mounted instead of a finial on top of a garden post pedestal or pillar . By an entrance gate or simply using it as beautiful decorative element in an interior on a large console or a garden table . nicely carved Body and elegant simple line details. The elegance sculpting makes it a great Garden ornaments architectural element . If mounted on a pedestal or base or column pedestal for your interiors or garden it will create a stunning focal point by the pool area or to elevate your landscape on top of a fountain. Very versatile , as a decorative object with great patina . instead of the usual normal urn or vase resting on a square base it will create a wonderful sculpted art work accent piece in any room. In an overall good condition with minor losses at the base as seen in the detailed pictures and on one corner shows an old repair and overall Old Stone Cracks . This magnificent large Jardiniere is very heavy, it takes at least 4 guys to mount up on a pedestal. Approx 400-500 lbs probably.
