Vintage Cast Bronze Sculpted Group of Three Monkeys Sitting in a Verdigris Tree
About the Item
A vintage lost wax cast bronze sculpted group of three monkeys in a tree in Verde and bronze patina. This vintage item is currently available for sale and we can make new ones (lead time will be 3 to 5 months). Created with the traditional technique of the lost-wax (à la cire Perdue) which allows for great precision and finesse in the details, this bronze sculpted group charms us with its joyous depiction of three monkeys sitting in a tree. Two adults are sitting on branches atop one another while the baby, full of energy, is playing on his own. Standing on the branch and holding himself only through one hand, he is having the time of his life while his mother is keeping an eye on him. Rendered with exquisite details, their dark brown and golden tones contrast beautifully with the tree's verdigris patina. An excellent addition to any garden, this piece will inspire a carefree afternoon!
