Used in the fabrication du jambon Maître jambonnier . 18th / 19th century water Jambonier of hand carved stone container to dry cure the ham. This trough basin could be installed with a simple bronze metal spout to create a charming garden water fountain. A chef could use it as an Historic Architectural element in his kitchen. A nice size stone container from Provence. The centuries left its marks on it and a very nice patina. Mounted as a kitchen Farm sink It is a piece of art that holds history and beauty in its proportions. This architectural element is very versatile and it will be the focal point or centerpiece in a contemporary design landscape, traditional provincial Italian Spanish Mediterranean French etc. In a winery or Farm as a historic rare object. With a simple spout in the center with water bubbling and of course it could be used as a planter since it has a good depth and it can hold a great amount of soil.
