19th Century Carved Oak and Metal Grape Harvest Hod Basket from Burgundy
About the Item
Decorate a wine cellar or breakfast room with this elegant antique grape harvest basket. Created in Burgundy, France circa 1880, the tall tapered basket with metal strapping is decorated with brackets for leather back straps, so that it can be carried on the back. The large hod basket is in excellent condition and flaunts a rich walnut patina. Hook on the back for easy installation. Hang it on a kitchen or entryway wall, filled with a dry floral arrangement.
