Mid-Century Modern Vintage Rattan Picnic Basket, 1950s, Austria

About the Item

Mid-Century Modern vintage rattan picnic basket, which was made out of woven rattan and a wooden inlay. The rattan basket was designed and made 1950s, Austria and is a cherished piece, which came from an Austrian couple. While the basket shows a handle to make the handling easy, the wooden interior is great for some smaller accessories like the flatware. With two separate lids on each side you can open the basket. The picnic basket is a gorgeous piece to celebrate your time in nature and sitting between the wildflowers. The vintage condition is very good with minor signs of age and use.
