21st Century Ludovica+Roberto Palomba Laguna Caigo Small Vase Murano Moss Green
About the Item
Caigo Small is a vase from the Laguna Collection designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba for Purho in spring 2022. Mignon version of the larger Caigo — which name refers to the thick fog in the Venetian dialect — this small vase whose plump shapes apparently curl up on themselves has a small upper slot ideal for
accommodating a single flower.
Made of Murano glass in iridescent colours and sandblasted finishes, Caigo Small and Caigo — the bigger version — complete the other artefacts of the Laguna Collection: a composite set of organic forms, apparently imperfect cylinders, in which the formal flow is interrupted only by the engraving on two of the vases.
A departure for a collection that is a tribute to Murano and the lagoon that surrounds it.

Purho Murano
PURHO — Italian soul with an international character Founded in 2012 by CEO Andrea Dotto aiming to turn into reality the potential of the marriage between Murano glass and contemporary design, Purho is now capable of marketing products stemming from solid research based on the observation of current tastes and new creative languages seen through the lens of the Murano glassmaking tradition.
