Antique French Sevres Ormolu Gilt Bronze Dore Porcelain Tazza Cabinet Plate Dish
About the Item
An exceptionally well cast French mounted Ormolu and hand painted porcelain sevres circular Tazza of traditional circular form, possible from the third quarter of the nineteenth century.
The central reserve with hand painted decoration depicting an abundance of colour depicting a Still Life of Summer Flowers and Old Roses within a lavish gilt surround on a celeste blue.
The decorative gilt bronze frame with twin scrolling handles raised on three unusual lavish cast paw feet divided by scrolling swag detail.
Condition: Good untouched condition with no wear to ormolu gilding, no restoration or losses. Base marks as shown on last image.
Width: (entire including handles) 12” (30.5cm). Height: 5.5” (14cm). Diameter: (of gilt framed plate only) 9.5” (24cm).
