About the Item
Large and rare signed red and clear 'Scavo' rhombus shaped glass bowl, centrepiece or vide-poche designed by Antonio Da Ros (1936-2012) for Cenedese Vetri Murano glass circa 1980s. Made of red and clear Murano art glass using both the sommerso & 'scavo' technique, giving the glass the resemblance of historic roman glass which has been excavated after hundreds of years.
Signed and with original labels - very rare in this condition.
