Black Oblong Ceramic Centerpiece Fruit Bowl with Satin Glaze, in Stock
About the Item
Inspired by organic contemporary design, this pierced oblong bowl is wheel thrown, distorted and hand pierced stoneware with a black satin glaze. Small holes are created when the clay is still wet and then each hole is painstakingly enlarged and smoothed when the clay is bone dry. The interplay of light and shadow, color and form complements any urban, contemporary or transitional space.
This piece can stand alone as an art object but also shines with fruit or ornaments in it to create a striking centerpiece for a kitchen island, side table or dining table.
Dishwasher safe, food safe.
