Danish Wooden Bowl 1950s

About the Item

Rare wooden bowl made in Denmark in the 1950s, the bowl is made in a mixture of two types of wood which is beechwood and nut wood. The bowl is very similar to pieces made by the Danish architect and design couple Karen & Ebbe Clemmensen who are best known for their architecture as for example buildings like Enghavegård Skole, Kildeskovshallen, Blågård Seminarium which they drew together with other Danish architect and designer Jørgen Bo and of their designs the most well known is their safari chair which they designed in the 1950s for Fritz Hansen. The bowl is the perfect decorative piece for any interior and will fit any type of interior from the traditional Scandinavian style to a more modern interior.
