Lee Barnes Peck Abstract Bronze Etched Plate

About the Item

Measures: 12.5" x 1.75. Produced circa 1975 by Lee Barnes Peck. Modernist large decorative plate with original shop tag detailing the production of the plate using bronze, and a multitude of other etching techniques for this abstract design. Striking relief and colors from gold, bronze and silver showing as well a crystalline structure to some elements. It has a strong tactile quality and this is very prominent when viewing. It borders modernism and post-modernism. In impeccable condition with just natural patina to the metals. Comes with the shop tag and the plate wall hanger for mounting. This charger measures 12.5" in diameter and 1.75" deep and may be used as a catchall also. An ideal gift this season. Lee Barnes was a noted jeweler and educator. Photographed also is a jewelry box we have by him.
