Lost Paper - LP 01 bowl in white bronze
About the Item
Born from a contemplation on the transient nature of modern consumerism, Lost Paper emerges as a tribute to the overlooked beauty hidden within everyday disposables. Through a process of transformation, single-use paper and cardboard packaging are elevated into timeless and substantial objects, imbued with significance through the ancient craft of casting. Each creation begins with a sheet of paper, meticulously cut, folded, intertwined, and secured with a delicate layer of wax, forming intricate and organic structures destined for bronze casting.
The result is a unique textured paper spider webs, delicately poised between the ethereal lightness of their origins and the enduring strength of their newfound substance in white bronze. Guided by the fluidity of the molten metal, each detail of the original paper structure is faithfully captured, immortalizing the delicate intricacies in a medium that defies time itself.

TIPSTUDIO
TIPSTUDIO is Imma Matera and Tommaso Lucarini, Florentine by adoption based duo driven by a material research with a more poetic process to investigate and explore the boundary of nowadays design. They are determined to transform any idea into a narrative project to catch emotions through an in-depth research on processes and territories. The form is just the shape of the process, It becomes the output of a path of experimentation on material and immaterial values. Their works come from the blending of anthropological aspects, conceptual analysis and territories in a continuous intertwining between the poetry of Matera with the materiality of Pietrasanta. Currently TIPSTUDIO works across different disciplines, companies and artisans to create new products, unique pieces and concepts in a continuous journey.
