Modernist Translucent Glass Stylized Egyptian Eye of Horus Dish by Rosenthal

About the Item

This stunning modernist dish was realized by the esteemed German maker Rosenthal. It offers a sinuously curved ellipsoid form with raised sides and a central circular depression. The form suggests the ancient Egyptian symbol of the Eye of Horus, representing protection, health, and restoration. This piece would be perfect as a catch all or for presenting candies and or other treats. With its clean modernist lines and monochromatic palate, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It is signed on the underside "Rosenthal Classic Germany.", Germany, 20th century Dimensions: 8" W x 1.5" H x 4" H.
