Rare Georg Jensen Sterling Silver “Rose” Tureen 337C

About the Item

A rare vintage sterling silver Georg Jensen round tureen with amazing floral decorations and underplate, design #337C by Georg Jensen from circa 1920. A circular tureen with two leaf capped handles with berry joins, the domed cover with floral and berry finial. The circular raised underplate with circular center to hold base of tureen. This design is referred to as “Rose” and matches other pieces we currently have in stock – Oval Tureen #337 and Bonbonniere #262. Please see the extra images showing related pieces. Dimensions: Measures 8? in diameter and 7 1/2? in height (19.5cm, 19cm). The underplate is 10 5/8? (26.8cm) in diameter. Total weight 59.75oz (1,695g). Hallmarks: Vintage Georg Jensen hallmarks from 1933-1944. All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
