Vintage Murano Glass Shell Motif Bowl w/Gold Fleck, Opaline Exterior. Seguso?
A very pretty piece. It measures about 5.25 x 2.25 inches.
Good vintage condition. No chips or cracks found. There is surface scratching noticable on the inside bottom of the bowl.
The white exterior glass layer allows the orange-red interior glass layer to show through just enough to create an opaline effect. Also nice is that the gold fleck shows subtly from between the layers around the top portion of the exterior. On the interior, the fleck takes on the inner glass layer's color and appears orange/red, adding dimension and a spiral-like dynamic.
As you can see by viewing the photos and video, the colors appear to change depending on the environment (lighting, background, etc).
