Rare art deco mermaid bowl created by Mari Simmulson for Upsala-Ekeby. The design features a swordfish, water lilies, bubbles, and a mermaid. The bowl's four feet intricately portray leaves from water lilies. Manufacturer: Upsala-Ekeby Designer: Mari Simmulson Production Years: 1950-52 Width: 32.5 cm Height: 9 cm The markings "Ekeby 300" and "Maris" are incised underneath the bowl.
