About the Item

Early style decorative plate, polychrome Dutch or Portuguese tin-glaze composition with raised figural decoration in an early Baroque style. This faience plate features pressed-mold construction, with a 19th century revival of the Mainz wheel mark of Höchst Porcelain on reverse.
