About the Item
The most exceptional aspect of this pair of dishes is the fabulous gilding lavished over the cobalt borders.
As a less prominent feature, the gilding carries throughout the decoration. The bright gold combined with the unexpected use of purple with turquoise and green makes this a stunning pair of dishes.
The gilt and exquisite colors jump from the clean white ground of the pearled creamware.
