Set of Three Vintage Graduated Sussex Trugs
About the Item
They were used for harvesting and grain measuring and then in 1851 they were displayed at Great Exhibition in Hyde Park, London. They caught the eye of Queen Victoria, who purchased many for the members of the Royal Family! The Victorians caught on to these beautiful wooden carriers and loved to use them for their fresh garden cut flowers.
