Antique Japanese Glass an Enamel Box with Buddha

About the Item

A rare and highly collectible Japanese cut glass oval box with silver plated metal lid decorated with traditional geometric and floral patterns covered with red and green enamel in champleve enamel technique. The top of the lid has a hand painted cast brass figurine of a seated Buddha as a handle. Dated circa 1920. Oriental Japanese Decorative Collectibles, room accents and accessories. Dimensions: H 7 in. W 8 1/2 in. All measurements are approximate. Condition Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Refer to photos.
