British Campaign Officer's Chest in Rosewood on Custom Stand, Early 1900's
About the Item
A handsome, rosewood British Campaign officer's chest on a custom made stand. It features the brass strap corners are typical of the the Campaign pieces. It has a fitted interior for use by the officer for his personal effects. Dates to the early 1900's and has been refinished. There is a lock and key, which has been replaced.
The custom made rosewood stand is not attached and allows the chest to not only hold artifacts, but becomes a side table with an interesting history.
