19th Century Bohemian Moser Enameled Amber Art Glass Jewel Casket

About the Item

A stunning antique Bohemian enameled art glass hinged lid jewelry casket - table box by renowned luxury glass maker Moser. Exquisitely hand-made in Bohemia (present day Czech Republic) in the late 19th century, artistic Art Nouveau period opulence, featuring very fine quality hand-blown polished amber-colored art glass in an oval beveled cut lidded chest form, brilliantly decorated by hand with artistic applied raised enamel hot beading and floral swags, vibrant hand painted polychrome detailing, rising on distinctive gilt brass ormolu scroll and ball feet. Signed; interior lid, 9 JE(?) (artisan) 93 (presumably the date 1893) Dimensions: (approx) 3.5" High, 4.25" Wide, 3.25" Deep Excellent original antique condition. Museum quality. Presents splendidly. Lightly patinated brass mounts with slight bending. No observed rubbing or wear to ornamentation. Overall, a superb example, rare and highly desirable, it's sure to add a splash of vibrant color, sophisticated elegance, and tasteful refrained luxury to any space!.
