Charles X Cut-Crystal and Ormolu Jewelry Box

About the Item

Exquisite oval-shaped cut-crystal antique jewelry box. The crystal is chiseled into twisted patterns, and the mounts are of gilt bronze, which is decorated with small flowers, pearls and openwork interlace. This antique box rests on four hooves feet flanked by foliage. The keyhole is adorned with branches, circa 1820. Dimension: W 6.3 in, D 4.7in, H 3.9in. Dimension: L 16cm, P 12cm, H 10cm.
