Edwardian leather covered jewellery case
About the Item
This attractive Edwardian ladies leather covered jewellery case is covered in black leather which is enhanced with gold tooling, a gilt escutcheon and a gilt carrying handle. The interior is covered with dark blue velvet and gilded black leather. There is a removeable tray fitted with spaces for various items, below which are two more compartments. The width is 233 mm (9.25 inches), the height 110 mm (4.25 inches) and the depth is 170 mm (6.75 inches). There are a few minor scuffs to the leather at the front, but overall it is in very good condition. There is a makers mark but all I can decipher is "Registered". C1910
