resembling the Parisian Charge Mark of Julien Alaterre, The Porcelain Plaque, Continental, Circa 1800
Oval box, the sides and base set with panels of reeded engine-turning within chased gold mounts, the cover later set with a porcelain plaque depicting the story of Sampson and Delilah and overlaid with foliate gold mounts
