Beautiful Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy
About the Item
A fine Regency period rectangular tea caddy, veneered in panels divided by fine metal stringing. Silver metal escutcheon and key. Complete with an initialled plaque on the lid and round ivory feet. The interior with ivory veneered edging and three tea compartments and two cut glass containers and mixing bowl. A lovely piece that would look very elegant in a variety of settings. This piece is of exceptional quality.
