Early 19th Century Mahogany Teapoy

About the Item

Early 19th century mahogany teapoy, the shaped, crossbanded and hinged top opening to reveal two wooden containers with lids, with two compartment spaces ideal for storage, the sides of the teapoy having turned wooden knob handles for carrying, supported on a turned column with three carved and reeded cabriole legs terminating on brass cap and castors. Circa 1810.
