About the Item
A stunning pair of French 19th century Renaissance st. ormolu and marble candelabras. Each candelabras is raised by a circular moulded Rouge Griotte marble base with a bottom decorative ormolu band. Above the elegant socle pedestal is a bowl with a richly chased masculine mask and scrolling patterns, leading out to the circular candlecups with decorative glass bobeches. At the center is an impressive and detailed ormolu open winged heron. All original gilt.
