Pair of Elegant George III Sterling Silver Candlesticks, 1799 Additional Information: Date: Hallmarked in Sheffiled in 1799 for Nathaniel Smith and Co. Period: George III Origin: Sheffield, Yorkshire, England Decoration: Baluster shape with angular knops Size: H 29.8cm x Dia 14.3cm Condition: Good, 2cm narrow split on one stem, small dings to the baluster on both. The sconce of one is matched having been made by Hamilton and Inches in the 19th century Restoration: None.
