About the Item
Large scale Brutalist church candlestick of cast bronze, mid-20th century, Germany.
A heavy sculptural piece in very good vintage condition with a deep brown patina, which we have left as found. There are minor signs of age-appropriate wear and traces of old wax. Very nice statement piece, which could work well on the floor, or raised on a suitable plinth or table, see final two images for context.
Approximate dimensions: Height 60cm (to rim of upper bowl) x diameter 22cm at base.
The spike can be unscrewed for cleaning.
