Superb art deco candleholders by LeBlanc Barbedienne. Beautiful and intricate decorations of pigeons and swallows. In bronze and Portor black and white veined marble. France, Late 1800s. Signed LeBlanc. In good condition, oxidation, small chips to marble and very small damages to the pigeon relief. Secure shipping. Dimensions in cm (H x L x l) : 15 x 9.5 x 7 Gustave Leblanc-Barbedienne, born Emile-Gustave Leblanc on July 8, 1849 in Livarot and died in 1945 in Villeneuve-le-Roi, is a foundry artisan, successor of his uncle Ferdinand Barbedienne (1810-1892) as the head of the house Ferdinand Barbedienne.
