Pair of Arts & Crafts Brass Two Light Candelabras

About the Item

This unusual pair combine an Arts & Crafts sensibility with a Gothic twist. Each tapering central spire supports a pair of pierced hexagonal open candleholders. The round base is turned and dished. This pair has been made by a skilled metalworker in a workshop. Although each is identical, the stem is attached to the base differently. In one instance the craftsman used a nut and threaded the stem, in the other he threaded the base itself.
