Pair of English Empire Candlesticks, Early 19th C

About the Item

A rare and finely designed Empire candlesticks made in the early 19th c. Standing on a rectangular marble base are cast bronze eagles that holds gilt bronze unshaped candleholders. An interesting and good thing is that the eagles are paired so they are not identical but laterally reversed.
