These exceptional antique Spanish cast sterling silver candlesticks have a circular rounded, waisted knopped, tapering form to a circular spreading base, all in the French Empire style.
The waisted capitals are embellished with chased overlapping single scrolling leaf designs to the lower portion and retain the original detachable push fit sconces.
The capitals surmount an exceptional chased double-sided figural bust decorated knop.
The tapering column is encircled with a rounded knop ornamented with a stylized leaf decoration, in addition to a lobed knop to the lower portion.
