Beautiful and highly decorative brutalist pair of Stainless Steel candle holders for cube candles from the "Steel Art" series designed by Olav Joa for Polaris in Sandnes- Norway in the 1970s. The candle holders has geometic patterns and relieffs on the surface. Perfect for longer candles. Signed under with Ola Joa and Cast Stainless Steel. Dimensions: 7.5cmH x 7.5cmD. Scandinavian Design. Norway. Olav Joa (1942) worked for Figgjo since 1983. He retired in 2011. Olav Joa`s products represent a wide range in Figgjo's range and he made the Polaris selection in 1972. Olav Joa`s Polaris "Steel Art" selection is known for its Cast Steel with geometrical midcentury patterns from Norway. They consist of small production pieces and are of heavy quality steel designs.
