About the Item
Decorative early 1800s antique Swedish Mora clock in Kurbits folk art paint and detail and a slender body dated 1825.
Measures: 210cm.
This original 1800s Mora clock has a good face with a clean patina and a Scallop Top hood.
The clock body is distressed as befits its age and has the usual wood movement found in clocks of this age.
the clock is sold 'as is' : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order - If you want it working we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£250) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£350)
The mech change takes approximate 2 weeks.
