Swedish Mora Clock Fryksdall White Gold Scroll Motif Antique Grandfather
About the Item
Swedish antique Mora clock in the Fryksdall school finished in White paint with gold edge detailing.
This unusual Mora clock has interesting scrollwork at the neck with a ribbon motif in the centre.
It stands 207cm tall approx and has a slender profile with a good face surmounted by a small crown.
The clock body paint has the usual wood movement found in clocks of this age.
the clock is sold 'as is' : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order - If you want it working we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£250) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£350)
We can do this without any damage to the clock and you will still receive the original clock mechanism separately 'as is' with the clock to keep in a cupboard.

- Condition:Repaired: probably some minor repairs during its life. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. The clock has some paint distressing and it is structurally sound with the usual wood movement for a piece of its age. It has some slight cracking /lifting in the face enamel and may exhibit some paint lifting in places.
