19th Century Boulle Mantel Clock

About the Item

A very good quality 19th century French boulle mantel clock with wonderful scrolling foliate ormolu mounts to the surround, brass inlay to the red tortoiseshell. White enamel roman numerals to the eight day duration movement that chimes on the hour and half hour. The movement is an English fusee, by Payne of New Bond Street, London. Measures: 57cm (22.5") high.
