Carl Ranch's efft.: Small antique mantel clock

About the Item

Carl Ranch's eff. Small antique mantel clock is a beautiful and unique clock that was made in France in the 1850s. The case is made in Rococo Rivival style with a inlaid tortoiseshell with brass, and the clock shows Roman and Arabic numerals. The watch case is signed by Carl Ranch's efft. Copenhagen, and measures 36 cm in height and 18 cm in width. Made of wood, tortoiseshell, brass and lacquer, this watch is made using a beautiful intarsia technique. This makes it an uncommonly beautiful watch, which can be a sought-after collector's item. It is also a perfect choice for those who value quality and tasteful details in their interior design. "The price of such a watch can be up to 48,000, as it is a rare and sought-after piece". This is what has been quoted on the backside on the clock which is from a danish article from the 1960's talking about this exact piece.
