Large 19th Century Raingo Fres, Paris Clock Set

About the Item

A fine quality French 19th Century gilded ormolu and patinated bronze clock garniture, having a pair of seven branch flower like candelabra, being supported by putti, raised on circular plinth bases with scrolling decoration. The clock having bronze patinated mother and three children, one sculpting, one painting and the other reading. Mounted on this beautiful gilded ormolu base with flowers, shells and foliage. The eight day duration clock chimes on the hour and half hour and is signed; Raingo Fres, Paris Clock ; 60cm wide x 20cm deep x 46cm high.
