About the Item

Imposing Louis XVI clock, in gilded bronze and on a white marble base, decorated with cornucopias descending on each side, hiding a window and topped with antique beams and laurel wreaths The dial with a white background, placed at the -above a window surrounded by bronze, is signed Lemerle Charpentier, bronzier, 8 rue Charlot in Paris The movement is also signed Lemerle CHarpentier and won a bronze medal for Marty Clock of very good quality of carving and gilding Slight wear of time to the gilding, with its pendulum Napoleon III period Height 58 cm 50 x 23cm
