BOSTON U.S.A Clock back plate signed: E.F. Caldwell & Co. New York Height 11.75 in. (29.84 cm.), Width 9.5 in. (24.13 CM.) Provenance: From a private Scarsdale, NY estate. Catalogue Note E. F. Caldwell of New York was an esteemed designer of works in metal, including clocks, lighting fixtures and furniture. The firm was very active during the turn of the 20th century.
