A lovely quality 19th century American carved walnut barometer, marked at the top with “SS city of Chicago, Inman steam ship Company” not only working as a barometer but also including a thermometer, clock and compartments showing the day, date and month, decorated with beautifully stylized floral carving, circa 1890.
